Sephora Sale Recommendations

Sephora Sale Recommendations

it's the most wonderful time of the year

Foreword

Sephora holiday sale is finally here and in today's post I am going to share my top product recommendations with you guys! As always, these are the products I have personally used, loved and repurchased many times over. If you are looking for some serious beauty inspo, you came to the right source!

My Skin: dry/sensitive

Caviar Stick

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow (29 USD; Made in USA) - is easily one of the best (if not THE best) cream eyeshadow stick on the market. Available in a plethora of shades and finishes (from matte to sparkly), these guys are true multi-taskers. You can use your Caviar Stick as an eye primer, eyeliner or on its own - options are endless. What makes them so great, you ask? Once they set, they do not budge. Opaque, pigmented and incredibly user-friendly. My personal favorite is the shade called Cocoa, a true chocolate brown that goes with every look. A true must-have for busy beauties on the go.

Beach Please

Tower 28 Beach Please Review

Tower 28 Beach Please Lip + Cheek Cream Blush (20 USD; Made in USA) - is one of the juiciest, "steamed dumpling" style cream blushes you will find at Sephora. There are only six shades available at the moment, yet all of them are universally-flattering and wearable. This Tower 28 formula is a joy to work with: blush blends with ease and it will never lift or disrupt your base. If you want that dewy, healthy flush on your cheeks, then you might really want to try one of these little guys. Personal favorite - Rush Hour (aka the happiest peach).

Bright Fix

Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Eye Brightener Concealer (25 USD; Made in Italy) - although initially I was in two minds about this product, today I am a full Bright Fix convert. You see, your girl here is a human-panda and I always thought that my under-eye corrector had to be quite thick and creamy in order for it to actually do anything. Well, I was wrong! Ever since I got a color-correcting shade of this Fenty Beauty product, I never looked back. I have dry skin, which is why I love this ultra weightless, non-creasing formula that looks like skin. I can use a very thin layer and still get amazing results (bye bye pandas!). I normally mix shades 4 and 8 to get a nice in-between tone, but even if you don't have under-eye darkness and only want a quick product to lift and brighten - this could be the one!

Upswing Mascara

Bite Beauty Upswing Full Volume Mascara (28 USD; Made in Italy) - is, hands down, one of the best discoveries of 2021. It is also the only vegan mascara in my possession that I actually love and can easily recommend to anyone, who craves volume, color, lift and definition. I am on my second, if not third tube of Upswing Mascara now and even when it is nearly empty and mascara is on its last legs, it never crumbles or flakes. My lashes are a bit sparse in places, but with this baby on you won't even notice it. Great option for people with sensitive eyes (this formula does not burn or feel drying). A hidden gem in Clean at Sephora section, highly recommend!

Eaze Drop

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint (29.50 USD; Made in Italy) - this is basically every "no makeup" makeup lover's dream melted and poured in a cute portable bottle. Unlike most tinted moisturizers or skin tints, Eaze Drop sets to a natural skin finish and while it still lets your skin peek through, it evens out skin tone and adds a lovely veil of blur. Effortless and hardly detectable to the naked eye. Most times people won't even guess that you have anything on, which is my favorite kind of makeup trickery. To me this is one of the most clever products that Fenty Beauty offer.

Lip Sleeping Mask

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (22 USD; Made in Korea) - must be my favorite lip care product, considering I have been repurchasing it in different flavors and sizes for so many moons now. Rich in antioxidants, it takes care of delicate skin on your lips both during day and night. Although these are scented, the fragrance is quite mild, so it should not bother even the most sensitive noses. My go-to at the moment has to be the brand's Sweet Candy, which makes your lips so soft and kissable!

Resveratrol-Lift Line

Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Line Review

Caudalie Resveratrol-Lift Line (Made in France) - must be one of my favorite skincare discoveries of the year. Although it is aimed at 35+ beauties and does not technically target my age group, I have still experimented with these lovely products and must admit that Eye Gel-Cream and Instant Firming Serum in particular have won my heart. Here is why: according to the brand, Resveratrol is a more gentle (and effective) alternative to Retinol, which can often times irritate sensitive skin. While I was using these products, I have noticed just how much these formulas have improved my skin texture, especially under the eyes (where I tend to be that extra bit dry). Eye Gel-Cream smoothed out all of the little patches and bumps, while Instant Firming Serum ironed out some of the fine lines on my forehead while they were still in their fetus form. In two words - if you are looking for preventative, anti-aging skincare and for some reason can't handle Retinol, you might want to try these instead.

Unseen Sunscreen

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Review

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 (34 USD; Made in USA) - last, but not least, I had to mention my favorite sunscreen. Now, if you are a friend to the blog (love you!), then you have heard me talk about Unseen Sunscreen in nearly every single shopping guide. This is the most perfect invention in my book: a clear sunscreen with zero scent and it blurs out your pores? No white cast, no pilling, no nonsense. Plus you get to save some dollars, what not to love?
