My Skin: dry, sensitive

FORMULA
The Low pH Good Night Soft Peeling Gel offers a water-based formula enriched with film-forming agents, exfoliants, solvents, humectants, and pH adjusters to name a few.
😊 PROS
The formula's active ingredient is Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), known for its support of the skin barrier's function, minimization of redness, regulation of oil production, and overall skin tone improvement. You then get Lactobionic Acid (PHA), which is a polyhydroxy acid. It helps with mild exfoliation and is more suitable for people with sensitive skin. Papain (an enzyme derived from papaya) is added to further help remove dead skin cells, while Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolized Hyaluronic Acid, and Sodium Hyaluronate support hydration. Camellia Japonica Flower Extract (antioxidant-rich), Rosa Damascena Water, and Lavender Flower Water further help soothe the skin.
☹️ CONS
Although most Cosrx products are well suited to sensitive skin, some botanical extracts may still irritate certain individuals. It is wise to review the full ingredient list prior to purchase.
Personally speaking, I did not face any adverse reactions while using the product.
Cruelty-free🐇
TEXTURE
The Low pH Good Night Soft Peeling Gel has a smooth consistency with soft exfoliating particles suspended throughout the formula (not to be confused with grains).
SCENT
Fragrance-free.
APPLICATION
The Low pH Good Night Soft Peeling Gel is designed to be a part of a night-time skincare routine. Once your skin is free of makeup or sunscreen, apply a small amount of the product onto damp skin and gently massage it over your face (and if needed neck as well). Avoid the delicate eye area. This formula balls up as it comes in contact with dead skin, allowing you to see the gel lifting away dead skin and surface debris. When that happens, use lukewarm water to thoroughly wash your face.
The results with this product are immediate. Skin feels extra soft with no irritation or dryness in sight.
Best used once-twice a week.
who is going to like it
The Low pH Good Night Soft Peeling Gel is one of the gentlest exfoliants I have tried. It is not made of grains, and while the exfoliation is technically physical, the result is achieved with little to no skin aggravation. The best time to use this product is on your "in-between" actives nights. Particularly after using Retinol or Tretinoin, this formula helps remove lingering dead skin cells and smooth texture in one swift move without causing any harm to already sensitized skin.
The Low pH Good Night Soft Peeling Gel will likely suit all skin types; however, it is particularly beneficial for dry and very dry skin.
Verdict
Cosrx is like a dependable friend you can always count on. I appreciate the brand's clear and straight-to-the-point approach when it comes to both developing and marketing their products. The Low pH Good Night Soft Peeling Gel is now a must-have exfoliant in my routine (I have repurchased it several times). It creates a beautifully radiant and petal-soft canvas free of dead skin and texture. While it is often overlooked, I consider it one of the standout formulas in the brand's lineup, alongside its snail and peptide products. It is definitely worth looking into and I give it an A+.
